ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION: Provides opportunities for church members to explore faith issues in their lives.
BIBLE STUDY: Held on Wednesday Nights at 7:00PM. Study guides are used to enhance the exploration and discussion of various topics in the Bible.
YOUTH PROGRAMS: See webpage devoted to these programs. It is listed on the home page.
LAY EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS: Lay Eucharistic Ministers or LEMs administer the chalice during the Eucharist. Some LEMs are also licensed to take Communion to people who are unable to attend church.
ALTAR GUILD: The members of the Altar Guild are responsible for maintaining all items used in our worship; washing, ironing, dusting, polishing, etc. In addition to providing the wine, wafers, candles, liquid wax and linens they are also responsible for decorating on special holidays.
WEDNESDAY SOCIAL GROUP: This group meets during the day on Wednesdays . Everyone who attends loves to chat and hear about each other's lives and families.
ST. MARTHA'S GUILD: This group provides an opportunity for fellowship while creating projects for both outreach and inreach. Among other projects, bedside bags for hospitals are sewn by St. Martha's Guild and filled with donations from parishioners.
OUTREACH: There are many programs for outreach at St. Thomas. Besides our food closet there is Project Home Again, The Heifer Project, and Project Shepherd.
AFRICAN TEAM MINISTRIES: This is another outreach project. This program supports orphan children in Africa by providing tuition for their education, books and uniforms. Mid-day meals are also provided for these children.
EVANGELISM: Spreading the Good News to others, as we have committed ourselves, as a parish, to doing what is stated in our Mission Statement.
SPORTS TEAMS: Our participation in a variety of sports provides an opportunity for fellowship, both with other members of St. Thomas and with those on the other teams. These games are a time when we gather together to share a passion and a ministry. It's also a time for fun!
ANNUAL BAZAAR: Providing community outreach and fellowship in working together. Come and join us at this annual event.
ANNUAL ST. THOMAS FAIR: A time of fellowship and fund raising that helps us celebrate who we are as a congregation.
ANNUAL DESSERT AUCTION: Another fund raiser that is lots of fun to participate in. Lots of great items are auctioned off at this event every year!
